Brought to You By: ACSI Western Canada and Rosebud Theatre & School of the Arts
The Drama Xchange presents an opportunity for your school’s drama department to interact with professionals in the theatre community, to perform in a showcase for peers and to exchange ideas about the power of Story as a redemptive influence in today’s culture.
Each school will be given a twenty-minute (maximum) performance time to showcase the work of your students on a blank stage under theatre lighting. Each school will be adjudicated by a professional theatre artist who leads a feedback session following the performance.
Your students have a chance to meet and learn with drama students from other school in workshops, taught by the artists of Rosebud Theatre and School of the Arts. Workshop topics include Devised Theatre, Voice, Character Creation, Drama Ministry, Movement, and more.
Attendance at a Rosebud Theatre show and talkbacks with theatre artists completes the Drama Xchange experience.
