If Chris Stapleton and Miley Cyrus had a punchy little love-child, the result would be Calgary-based country artist, Michela Sheedy. She’s one part endless party, one part unmitigated honesty, and known for her vocal cords of pure honey and whiskey.
With a bit of rock, a lot of soul and a throwback gritty vibe, Michela crash landed on country radio with irresistible songs like “I Make Bad Look Good” and “Lost”. Notable Life’s Breakout Canadian Musician of the Year in 2018 and a four-time Country Music Alberta nominee for Horizon Female Artist of the Year.
Hitting stages like a hurricane alongside legends like Keith Urban, and has set the scene on fire as direct support for Dallas Smith, Dean Brody, Aaron Goodvin and Lonestar. No stranger to the stage, playing festivals like Country Thunder in Alberta and Florida, the Coca-Cola stage and Nashville North tent at the Calgary Stampede, Big Valley Jamboree and more. From local dive bars to NHL arenas, Michela has proudly performed the national anthem for the Calgary Flames since 2017.
Michela has an uncompromising spirit that distinguishes her from the rest making her one of the genre’s most exciting new artists and relatable voices. The next big thing in country music turning the industry on its cowboy-booted heels.
