The Music Discovery program provides barrier-free access to an accredited music therapist, Kate Ager, and an unparalleled program that is designed to encourage social interaction, connection, and community while making music. Instruction focuses on music knowledge and developing skills through singing, movement, and instrumental play, including drums, tone chimes and percussion.
Music Discovery participants, in addition to weekly classes, attend and perform in our Community Concert Music Series. These concerts are an opportunity for participants to experience, see, hear, interact, and connect with local musicians and to share their music in a safe and celebratory community setting. The Community Concert Music Series is free and open to the public with no prior reservations required, with the next concert on Tuesday, February 10, 2025, at 1:30pm.
