Get Found – A Hands-On Guide to Using 211 Alberta

Thursday, Feb 26, 2026 at 10:30AM

Community Futures Wild Rose

211 Alberta is a key provincial resource that connects residents to local community, social, health, government, and crisis supports 24/7. This session will walk through what 211 is, how it works, and how frontline organizations use it to connect clients with the right services at the right time.
This will be an interactive, hands-on session. We’ll cover:
- How 211 Alberta works and why it matters for non-profits
- How to get your organization listed correctly (or updated)
- How proper categorization helps your services show up when people are searching for help
If you’re attending in person, please bring your laptop and your program details. We’ll provide hands-on support during the session to help update existing listings, and for organizations that are not yet registered, we’ll walk you through the forms and help you get set up. This session is open to non-profits across the region, and the hybrid format allows you to join in whatever way works best.
